I love the callbacks. Ash had this weird connection and felt like he was being called by the Riolu egg because he is a direct descendant of Sir Aaron, the Aura Guardian who had his own iconic Lucario. Ya'll should know this if you watched Lucario and the Mystery of Mew movie.
